DAY 01: CUSCO – OVER NIGHT BUS – PUERTO MALDONADO – COLLPAS TAMBOPATA INN LODGE

• [Arrival] – [Welcome & Briefing]: We will pick you up at the bus station or airport and transfer you to our Puerto Maldonado office. You will receive a full briefing, and we highly suggest storing any unneeded luggage to travel comfortably on your 3 day Tambopata jungle tour.
• [Midday] – [Off-Road & River Journey]: Embark on a thrilling 2-hour overland ride in a 4×4 truck to the Tambopata River. We then switch to a scenic half-hour boat ride upriver until we reach the welcoming “Collpas Tambopata Inn”.
• [Afternoon] – [Rainforest Immersion]: After a warm reception and a delicious meal (breakfast or lunch depending on arrival), step into the wild. Enjoy an introductory walk into the rainforest to spot amphibians, mammals, reptiles, and fascinating insects in their natural habitat.
• [Late Afternoon] – [Canopy Sunset]: Climb our towering 53-meter canopy tower. Breathe in the pure jungle air, enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the endless green rainforest, and witness a truly magical sunset.

DAY 02: MACAW CLAY LICK (Collpa Chuncho) – KAYAKING – NIGHT WALK

• [4:30 AM] – [Journey to El Chuncho]: We wake up very early for an incredible 1:30 hours boat ride to the world’s largest macaw clay lick. Keep your cameras ready; the riverbanks at dawn offer the best chances to spot capybaras, tapirs, or even the elusive jaguar.
• [Early Morning] – [The Avian Symphony]: Arrive for your unforgettable Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick 3 days experience. Settle into comfortable chairs and watch hundreds of parrots and vibrant macaws (reds, greens, blues, yellows) gather on the wall to consume essential mineral salts. It is an experience for life!
• [Mid-Morning] – [Botanical Discovery]: Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and free time. Later, walk through our botanical garden with a professional guide to uncover the secrets of local tropical fruits, timber, and medicinal plant species.
• [Afternoon] – [Tambopata Kayaking]: Glide silently along the Tambopata River in a kayak. Moving without engine noise dramatically increases your chances of observing the larger, more cautious animals of the reserve.
• [Late Afternoon/Evening] – [Nocturnal Safaris]: Choose how you want to end the day: embark on a thrilling night walk through the dense forest, or go caiman spotting on the dark waters of the river.

DAY 03: BACK TO PUERTO MALDONADO

• [Morning] – [Early Departures]: If you have an early flight, enjoy a fresh breakfast before our boat safely transfers you back to Puerto Maldonado and directly to the airport terminal.
• [Morning to Afternoon] – [Organic Farm Tour]: If you have a later departure, extend your Collpa Chuncho 3 days adventure! Visit our organic farm for a guided tour of local crops like yucca, sugar cane, banana, and pineapple (with tastings depending on the season). Learn about traditional medicinal plants used by locals for generations.
• [After Lunch or 4:00 PM] – [Final Journey]: We will take you back to Puerto Maldonado by boat, ensuring a smooth transfer to the airport, bus terminal, or your hotel accommodation.
