Day 1: Sacred Valley Views & The Charm of Aguas Calientes

• [Coordinated Time] – Hotel Pick-up & Scenic Drive: We will coordinate your pick-up directly from your hotel, starting your journey with a comfortable ride in a private bus. Sit back and enjoy the landscapes for 1 hour and 30 min. approx. until we reach the historic Ollantaytambo train station.
• [Boarding Time] – The Train Journey: Board your transport for a breathtaking machu picchu train tour. This magnificent trip will last 2 hours approx., rewarding you with sweeping, panoramic views of the Sacred Valley winding its way into the lush cloud forest.
• [Arrival] – Welcome to Aguas Calientes: A friendly member of our team will be waiting at the station to escort you to your comfortable hotel. After settling in, you will have free time to stroll through the picturesque streets, dine beneath the towering mountains, or relax in the local hot springs.

Optional Afternoon Activities:

• [9:00 am to 4:30 pm] – Manuel Chavez Ballon Museum: Dive deeper into Inca history at this highly illustrative museum and beautiful orchid exhibition. It is just a 35 minute walk down the road to Puente Ruinas. It offers a fascinating introduction to the sanctuary and is absolutely worth it!

Day 2: The Magnificent Machu Picchu Sunrise!

• [Morning] – Breakfast & Preparation: Fuel up with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Your expert guide will pick you up, ensuring you are ready to greet the morning light over the sacred mountains.
• [6:00 am] – First Bus to the Citadel: Your guide will assist you in boarding the early bus up the winding mountain road. (For the adventurous souls, there is an optional hike up the trail instead of taking the bus).
• [Guided Exploration] – Uncover the Secrets (approx. 2 hours and 30 min): Step into the past as your guide leads you through the most important temples and plazas. Discover the spiritual significance of each stone during this enlightening machu picchu tour.
• [Free Time] – Explore on Your Own: Following the guided portion, enjoy complete freedom to wander the citadel at your own pace. Find a quiet spot to reflect, soak in the powerful energy, and snap the best photos for your memory.

• [Post-Tour] – WaynaPicchu or Machu Picchu Mountain: Challenge yourself by climbing the iconic peaks behind the ruins. It takes 45 minutes to reach the top, rewarding you with breathtaking panoramic views. (There is a strict limit of 200 people per day, so it is advisable to go immediately after your main tour).
• [Extra Hike] – Temple of the Moon: If you reach the top of WaynaPicchu, you can hike down to this hidden mystical temple. It will take about 45 more minutes to arrive and, from there, one more hour to return to the main complex of Machu Picchu.
