Day 1: Ancient Traditions, Maras, Moray & Ollantaytambo

• 7:30 a.m. – Cusco Pick-up & Scenic Drive: We will warmly welcome you and pick you up directly from your hotel in Cusco. Begin your cusco sacred valley machu picchu adventure by driving through the majestic upper mountains, surrounded by awe-inspiring Andean scenery.
• Morning – Chinchero, Maras & Moray: Immerse yourself in local traditions at the vibrant typical market and Colonial Temple of Chinchero. Next, discover the genius of Inca engineering at the Moray agricultural experimentation center and marvel at the stunning, pristine white salt flats of Maras.
• Midday – Gastronomic Pause in Urubamba: Recharge your energy in the peaceful town of Urubamba. Here, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the region’s best restaurants, generally offering a varied buffet filled with authentic local flavors.
• Afternoon – The Living Inca City of Ollantaytambo: Drive alongside the beautiful Urubamba River until reaching the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo. Explore this monumental Inca construction area, a unique town where local descendants still live within the original Inca houses.
• 3:37 pm to 7:00 pm – Train Journey to the Cloud Forest: (Exact departure depends on train availability). Board your comfortable train for a captivating two hours ride to Aguas Calientes. Witness a breathtaking transition of landscapes featuring snow-capped mountains, ancient Inca farming terraces, and spectacular valleys.
• Evening – Arrival in Aguas Calientes: Arrive at the base of the majestic citadel, situated at a comfortable 2000 masl (6561 feet). Our friendly staff will be waiting just outside the train station to escort you safely to your cozy hotel for a restful night.

Day 2: The Splendor of the Inca Citadel

• Morning – Ascent to the Wonder: After a nourishing breakfast, your expert guide will meet you by your hotel lobby. Head to the bus stop and enjoy a scenic 30 minutes drive up the winding mountain road, feeling the anticipation build as you approach the legendary ruins.
• Arrival – Entrance and Control Checkpoint: We will pass the main control together. (You must show your original ticket and passport here) to officially step foot into the most famous sanctuary of machu picchu and the sacred valley region.
• Guided Tour – Exploring the Sacred City: Enjoy a private, expert-led tour lasting for more than two hours. Uncover the spiritual mysteries behind the Main Plaza, the Sun Temple, the Sacred Sundial, the rock quarries, and the Temple of the Three Windows.
