Tambopata National Reserve MACAW CLAY LICK (Collpa Chuncho) 4 Days 3 Nights

Enjoy the Tambopata National Reserve for 4 days in the Amazon rainforest. Tambopata has a great environmental diversity, beautiful lakes, the macaw clay lick (Macaw Colpa) This reserve is one of the largest natural clay licks in the country with one of the highlights of the wildlife of Peru. Thousands of macaws and brightly colored parrots arrive daily at the cliffs to feed on mineral salts. Environmentalists claim that the great diversity of wildlife in TRZ is due to its location at the confluence of the Amazon lowland jungle with three other ecosystems. Here are at least 13 endangered species, including the jaguar, the giant otter, the ocelot, the harpy eagle and the giant armadillo.
