PUCAYAQUILLO FALLS FULL DAY

Our trip begins at 9:00 am, where we will pick you up at your hotel and board our transportation towards the entrance of the falls. The Pucayaquillo Waterfall is located 37 km from Tarapoto and a 45-minute walk from the town of Shapaja between the confluence of the Cerro Escalera Regional Conservation Area and the Cordillera Azul National Park. We will start the 45-minute walk through the jungle enjoying the environment that surrounds us, the Amazon jungle has much to discover and within this walk we will find various wonders. After the walk we will be able to see the beautiful Pucayaquillo waterfalls, where we will take a break and bathe in its crystalline waters which end in a pool with sandy soil through which it is possible to move without swimming and the rock where the fall impacts has a part that can be climbed and placed just below to feel the full force of the current. After that relaxing bath in the falls we will have our lunch to start the return walk, admiring the flora and fauna until we reach the exit to return to the city of Tarapoto.
