The impressive Valley of the Volcanoes is located in the department of Arequipa, province of Castilla, district of Andahua at an approximate altitude of 3587 meters above sea level. This valley of the volcanoes was once the center of thunderous convulsions of the volcanic mountain range in the area, whose enormous explosive force broke the skin of the flat ground of the place, which caused the outbreak of small volcanoes which are currently extinguished, the same that can be seen in turn with an extensive layer of volcanic lava that once covered the surface of this place.
